For my daily commute I have a Yamaha Tracer 9 2023 with Givi top case and removable racks for small plastic panniers (in case I stay a night in a hotel). Pleased with the bike, I decided to go moto camping using it, so looked into more serious luggage options. After reading the drawbacks of hard cases, I wanted (Givi) rack based soft panniers. But I wanted them to last. After my own research and a nice, informative talk with Mosko Moto EU Support about v2.1 and v2.5, I was convinced to buy the Mosko Moto BC 35 v2.1 :-)
As the v2.1 pods seem to be not so compatible with the later version of the MSR dromlite, I bought the larger 3L Osprey Hydraulics Reservoir that works perfectly You just need to secure the hose, use the Osprey dust cover and forget about the opening for the dromlite nozzle. I'm now waiting for the Mosko Moto first aid bag to be delivered as well.
So why 'almost' perfect? I've got the four aux pods and they are great, but... with the five screws not something I just uninstall and install again. I wonder why the pods don't come with MOLLE/PALS for mounting to the panniers. That would make it perfect for me. On the other hand, I'd most likely keep all four on anyway.
I've now done my second holidays trip and the first camping trip using the panniers (and BC duffle (v2.5). The designs are well thought. Features I didn't think I needed, come in handy after all. These people know what they make and why. The material really becomes less stiff with use. So yes, I am very happy with all my Mosko Moto products!
Backcountry 35L Pannier Kit (V2.1)
Perfect !!! 👌🏼
Excellent quality. Installation of the additional bags a bit tricky.
Have not put them to the test yet but quality of the bags seems to be excellent, very sturdy and tough material. The wedges are very tight though, hope these loosen up a bit over time, it is now a bit hard to get the bags off the bike.
Support has also proven to be great. Was missing some aux pox mounting hardware in my delivery but that was taken care of quickly by support.
